The House Mountain State Park is a state park, recreation area, and natural area in Corryton, Tennessee. It features the House Mountain, a 2064 feet tall mountain deemed as the highest peak in Knox County.
Also known as the House Mountain State Natural Area, the House Mountain State Park offers 525 acres on the south side of the mountain, available for various forms of outdoor recreation. It is a popular spot for birdwatchers as the area is home to migrating hawks and warblers. There are also more than one hundred species of birds that call the mountain home. Visitors can also enjoy hiking up the mountain, with its amazing views from its peaks.
Established in 1987, the House Mountain State Park also has some picnic facilities, an interpretive kiosk, and 5 miles of trails.
