The Panther Creek State Park is a state park and recreation area in Morristown, Tennessee. It features the Cherokee Reservoir which was created as an impoundment of the Holston River.

Offering 1435 acres of area, the Panther Creek State Park offers a good number of recreational activities. Among the most popular things to enjoy at the site are boating, camping, fishing, picnicking, hiking, biking, and horseback riding. The site also has a large fan shaped swimming pool that is open during the summer months. The park is also equipped with facilities for playing basketball, volleyball, tennis, and softball just to name a few.

The area (the Panther Creek and Panther Springs) is believed to have been named after the legend that a Colonel Bradley of Virginia shot a panther while exploring the locale. The remains allegedly fell into the spring.
