The Tower of the Americas is a testament to the greatness and modern ingenuity of the US. The 750 foot tower located in San Antonio, Texas played an important part in the World Fair event of 1968 also known as Hemisfair ?68. The long standing tower was designed by O?Neil Ford, considered by many as one of the leading architects of the American Southwest.

Going up to the tower is $10.95 for adults and $8.95 for children and provides a very unique view of the San Antonio. Ticket admission includes unlimited access to the various facilities inside the tower such as the observation deck, Flags over Texas and the 4D Theatre Ride.

The tower?s interior features the 4D theatre ride which is part of the ticket price visitors will purchase before entering the Tower of the Americas. The 4D theatre formally know as ?The Skies Over Texas? takes visitors on a ride of their lives through Texas and utilizes the best in cinema technology to showcase everything that?s good about Texas.

The Tower of the Americas also has the Tower Caf? which offers guests great food stuff to nibble and bite on while taking the tour on the historic yet modern looking tower. The 750-feet tower is also proud to serve nothing but Starbucks coffee options for guests of all ages. Since it was bought by Landry?s Restaurants Inc., the Tower of the Americas has also brought in fine dining options with the Chart House restaurant.
