The Box Death Hollow Wilderness is just one part of the famous Escalante Ranger District that belongs to the Dixie National Forest. The canyons are called as Box and Death Hollow which were carved by tributaries coming from the Escalante River. You can see a wide variety of wildlife which include elk, mule deer, some bald eagles and several cougars.

The view from the Death Hollow is utterly amazing. Along with this, the opportunities for recreation are truly diversified from simple viewing of spectacular scenery and up to other activities like horseback riding, you can count them all to be a great and educational time to spend with the family. The main attraction of the forest is its hunting events along with the demand for other photography attractions.
