Opened in 1903, the Camden Park was considered one of the last parks of its kind, which showcases a number of classic rides including the Big Dipper. The park is owned by the Boylin?s, and it was J.P. Boylin who transformed it from a carousel into an amusement park.
The Camden Park features the Big Dipper, a wooden roller coaster built by National Amusement Devices in 1958. Regarded by the American Coaster Enthusiasts as an ACE Coaster Classic, the Big Dipper features Century Flyer cars. Another coaster found in the park is the Lil? Throughout the year, the Camden Park provides tons of entertainment to people of all ages. Some of the most popular shows it features are the Hot Summer Concert Series, Coca-Cola Days, Halloween Spooktacular, and the Children?s Festival.
