What's your favorite bar in the Albany area?

The title says it all! Mine's probably split between Mahars and Wolffs Biergarten. Mahars is great for a couple beers, and wolff's is a great place to party!

I would have to agree with you. Mahars is at the top of my list as well. The Biergarten is great for birthdays.. I go every year now and get the BOOT.

I'm excited to check out the new Irish Pub they're building across the street The Biergarten when it opens next spring.

Never been to the Biergarten although I should. I've known one of the owners for about 10 years now. Mahars has some good beers. My personal favorite is the pump station because why? They have GREAT BEER!

I don't know if I can pick just one. Mahar's, Wolff's Biergarten, Pump Station, Brown's Brewing... all are very good. Just depends on what you're looking to drink and what you want to do while drinking.

McGeary's by the Palace Theater has a pretty good beer selection. Also, Dinosaur BBQ up in Troy. Last time i went they had SN Celebration on tap. MMmmm...

It's been a while since I have gone drinking in Albany but I agree the pump station was good. And if you just want to watch the game and have fun I went to Andy's by the hospital with a bunch of co-workers all the times.

Each has it's own feel.
