Has anyone else noticed that all the malls are losing stores? I don't go often, but every time I do go, it seems another one has bit the dust. I wonder what's going on, when I was a kid the Mall was were I lived. Kids don't hang out there any more?
Barton is still hopping. Northcross is Wal-Mart now and Highland is too ghetto, I feel like I'm going to get stabbed thinking about going there.
I have family by Highland, they used to have a Bubble Tea stand, last time I was in there, there were three places open in the food court, not a one my Bubble Tea stand.
same thing here in tulsa, woodland hills doesn't get the biz like used to, eastland is all but shut down, promenade is only hopin on weekends and holidays, and is full of wannabee gang bangers on weekends, pretty dark also on weekends if ya know what i mean.
It's not just malls. A lot of businesses in strip centers are also closing down. I've noticed it not just around Austin, but around Denver and Boulder Colorado, too. The dry cleaners I've used for years recently shut their doors.
