Visiting Vancouver

What is the cheapest time of year to travel to Vancouver? I'd like to vacation there but want to go in the slow part of the year.

During the winter would be the slowest I would imagine. I hope you like rain.

We went last in September, and found the weather to still be pleasant yet it was not crowded with tourists, even Granville Island had plenty of parking.

Fall Winter, It really depends on what your willing to put up with because here on the coast during those months "ANYTHING GOES". Yes we get a lot of rain but is quite mild Temps compared to the rest of the country.

Winter, except at christmas time.
Of coarse the ski hills are more expensive in the winter though!

It's hard to say when is the cheapest if you are from here. But it is usually fairly nice from June through september, and it rains a lot in the winter. But it can rain anytime as well. If they do hotwire and priceline here, I'm sure you could find a deal. I guess it depends on what you want to do. The tourist trap stuff can be expensive, but there are tons of things to see and do for little money.

If you ski go in the Winter.

If you enjoy hiking, fishing and outdoor adventure. Go in the summer.

Vancouver island is one of the most amazing places I have ever been.. Perhaps that I could ever imagine.

enjoy your stay.

We went twice in the summer, and we did not find it to be too crowded, or too expensive. It is such a beautiful city!

Don't go in winter, its the monsoon season Grey sky's and consistant rain.

June/July is the time. There's not a more beautiful spot in North America.
