I wasen't even aware Dallas was dry. Like the suburbs of Dallas or the whole City?

The boundaries for wet/dry areas were not exactly by suburb or county lines, or even voting jurisdictions. The best known dry area is probably Oak Cliff, which is separated from the rest of the city by the trinity river. If you look down Irving blvd, where it runs parallel to the trinity, notice all the liquor stores are only on one side of the road. Once you merge to Industrial, now renamed Riverfront, starting at the continental bridge, beer wine liquor are on both sides.

I wasnt aware either, it seems things like this are few and far in between. Last county close by me that was dry was Walker County and that was a long time ago.

north dallas area was dry. Now our grocery stores are making space for booze.
