There is a good chance I might be moving to Delaware next year and was wondering what does it offer(besides no taxes)? What are some of the things you can do there?
Some beautiful beaches. Dogfish head brewery tours are great. Home of tax free shopping. Even if you are not a Nascar fan, you have to catch a race in Dover at least once. A local jeep club also has 86 acres they made into an off road park.

Delaware also has Casinos in Dover and a nice race track and casino in New Castle County. They also added a great golf course along side of the race track in Newport.

I moved here from Brooklyn, NY 5 years ago. It's great here. Low realestate prices, low real estate taxes, super low insurance reate for your car, no traffic, nice people, great beaches, always fun stuff to do. We love it.
Also, there is some great nature. I am from PA, and most folks always think NJ is the only beach option. Once you see what Delaware has to offer in Dewey and Rehobeth, you will quickly forget the "Jersey Shore" annoyances, and fall in love with the beauty of Delaware.
Also, there are some great State Parks in Delaware. My family and I visit Trap Pond in Laurel De at least 3-5 times a year for camping and fishing.
Sounds like a cool place to be. My sister and family are moving there by the end of the year. I have yet to know their chosen city, but i guess that any will be as good. It seems my kind of state to live in. If i ever do move back to the continental mainland, i think i will choose this little plot of land as my topmost option.

I have to contest your "no traffic" statement. Clearly you have never driven on either I-95 or US-202 during rush hour. Getting through Wilmington normally takes 10 minutes tops from when you pass the I-95/I-295 split northbound. During the rush, it can take three or four times as long.
And don't even get me started on traffic around UDEL in Newark. It's faster to get around that town on a bicycle than by car when school's in session...
Other than that, you're spot on. Delaware is not a bad place to live at all. An hour either way to Philly or Baltimore, two hours to DC, and plenty of interesting things all around.
