Just-A-Pizza
5136 South Archer Avenue, Chicago - (773) 585-8505
I've been going to this place since H.S. and brought it to work and other events and people love it.
I always order the "Just A Pizza Special" the Party Size think crust, well done. It is very thick and you can easily feed 10+ people.

+1 for Al's in Warrenville, but closer to me is Charlie Fox's with locations in Batavia, Geneva and St. Charles.

Double-D's at Jester's bar in Waukegan, double dough pizza is great.
Quonset in Waukegan makes killer thin crust with great homemade sausage.

Donnie's Homespun Pizza if you're in Decatur, Illinois. It's run by hippies so the service is normally terrible but the pizza is awesome!

Ron and Pat's pizza shack in Antioch. Cash or Check only. Two small tables. Delivery only within 5 miles. Hidden pizza gem in Lake County.

Aurelios pizza. Not a large chain but local in the Plainfield area. Good pizza at a good price.

When I'm hanging out at my friend's place on the northwest side of Chicago we always order from Amato's on Harlem neat North Ave.
When we were in college we used to go to Jim and Pete's on North Ave in Elmwood Park. It's pretty close to Thatcher and has great thin crust, but we never had good luck with it when we ordered out.
There used to be a great pizza place in Berwyn that had awesome pan/thick crust (not stuffed) called Salerno's, but it closed down.
I live on the southside of Chicago now. When I first tried Phil's on 35th St, I didn't like it but now its my fav.
