Being Christmas ? The Event

What if we reached record levels of generosity this Christmas? We?re partnering with the Catholic Action Center & Vineyard Community Church in Lexington, and Access Soup Kitchen in Frankfort to be Christmas for our cities. Here are three ways you can be involved:
Give Food

Let?s help fill the shelves of those in need at Quest and stock food pantries in Lexington & Frankfort. (All donations due by December 19)

Suggested non-perishable items:

* Canned meats (tuna, chicken)
* Peanut butter
* Chunky soups
* Pasta/Rice
* Cereal/Oatmeal
* Canned vegetables
* Canned beans & peas
* Canned fruits
* 100% fruit juice
* Canned/evaporated milk

Give Toys

Brand new (or gently used) toys would make a child?s Christmas! Here is a list of the most needed items for 2010: (All donations due by December 19)

* Bikes
* Buzz Lightyear action figures
* Barbies
* Basketballs & footballs
* Learning toys for toddlers
* Dora the Explorer dolls
* MP3 Players
* LEGO Sets
* Tonka Trucks
* Stuffed animals

Let?s partner together through our tithes & offerings to support the ministries of Quest that meet the spiritual, relational & emotional needs of people in Lexington & Frankfort.
