If you are driving from LA then entering the UP through Wisconsin would be a good bet. Check out the Porcupine Mountains, Pictured Rocks Lake shore, Tiquamanen Falls, Soo locks, the Mackinaw Bridge and shoot down I-75 stopping in Frankenmouth and the lock your doors and gun it through Detroit...lol

I guess Kid Rock was just at Miners' Castle (part of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore) a couple days ago to film part of his next video.

So if you like his music maybe you will get a look at part of the park in his video.

At the Brad Paisleys when he sings Mud on tires The show video of the 2009 ultimate Adventure, on the big scream behind Him. With many clips of Rocks and Valleys Off Road Park. It has been on CMT a few times too.

If your into cycling mid April through October are great here. While your here check out
the local fiesta's , they are better than any state I've lived in yet!! The small towns are
the best!! The people get into whatever the occasion may be. Most towns have several
fiesta's a year & are spaced through the whole year, even winter. Main thing , get off
the interstate & travel the secondary roads. The farmer's markets are great here !
No , I'm not a native Michigander , Texan by birth. Come & enjoy our state!!

We have 59,000 square miles of land, thousands of miles of shoreline, the great lakes, hundreds of inland lakes, many many wonderful state and national parks, and you want us to come up with one lousy reason???????
