Looks... interesting. But it's makign me hungry. A Moderator is someone who volunteres their time to watch over the forum to make sure that everything is under control and the forum runs smoothly.

What are you drinking in that picture? Looks like a cool bottle!

Ooo ? it seems the Moderator is an important bird ?
Our national hard drink is ?rakia? ? we have spoken about it above ? this one is home prepared, contents 45-50% alkohol, distillated usually from fermented fruits ? my one is grape rakia ? the bottle is again from rakia, but not home prepared.

I see you eating a lot of dishes without meat. Is that typical for the region?

I studied cooking for a long time and unfortunately know very little of Bulgarian.

well ... to make a nice wine is not easy ... Although many people in BG do wine at home, no many real masters in this field. ... rakia is much easier - simply a destilation

Austin ... last 10-12 years I eat no much meat ... I do not know why. BG meals are almost these in Mediterranean kitchen, of course there are some features, we have some special national meals … but I do not know much about it because meals have not much matter for me … it is only a fuel for me … drinks are important for me ... And the salad for it ...

This little bird says kudos for the great picture of the bikes.
наздраве Borislav!

Two questions for you:
Who rides the red bike? and,
What are those tall plants growing in the background? Sunflowers?

Here in North America you have to be a certain age to go into a pub. If someone goes into a pub and tries to order a drink, and they look too young they "get ID'd", which means someone asks them for a piece of identification to prove they are old enough to be there.

It's downright barbaric

In most places the legal age to drink is between 19 and 21. In Quebec where I live it's 18. Lot's of college students from Ontario and the NE states make trips to Montreal to party it up.

You should take a little virtual visit to Montreal one day

Ah! ... now I understand better the ID story ... here in BG is different ....it seems everything is possible ....

Alex … it was a great 3 week tour (1600 km) I and Maya have done. We had 20 sunny days (except the first one). Of first Maya told me she has only one free week, after she decided that maybe it is possible to tour one more and in the end – we toured 3 weeks. Typical woman behavior, I only kept quiet, I was sure we will spent very long and happy time together.

The yellow part of the background above is reaped wheat, left part of the photo – sunflowers … If I find out, down you will see flowering sunflowers and Maya - the same tour …
Here is the link with album of the tour, but it is written in BG:

Well …. Weekend now … boys, have a great weekend …
