It seems we have the same taste in music! I was fortunate to be able to see Elvis, Uriah Heap, Pink Floyd, Tom Jones, Chicago and the Eagles in live concerts when I was a youngster.

My first real concert was the Beatles, in Las Vegas, in I believe 1964. Since I was just 9 years old, I could not understand why people were passing cigarettes back and fourth thru the crowd, and then acted very funny!

In those years here was possible to hear them only via west radiobroadcasts – there was in Thessalonica (Greece) especially for BG – “The voice of America”, Radio Laxemberg from GB, “Free Europe” … what a noise and modulation it was, because our governing lumberjacks destroyed it permanently …
To improve my pronunciation long years I loved to imitate some of them … but I do not know why, I have leaved it since 2-3 years …
