They just opened a new Boiling Crab downtown.. the one in San Jose is amazing. People drive hundreds of miles just to eat there, but be warned, there might be a very long wait to eat..

Jaime's Bar and Grill, 427 Broadway. Don't be fooled by the exterior, great food/service. There is parking in the back also, it is just a bit hard to see.

You have to try Squeeze in, and they'll always get my support, but I'm really digging the new Smashburger restaurants that are popping up around town. Great burgers and their veggie fries are addicting! Yum!

Speaking for the vegetarins that may be around....

For veggie burgers, there are 3 outstanding choices.

1. Flaming Grill Flaming Grill Cafe
2. Famous Burger
3. Squeeze Inn

For the non vegetarians, the Flaming Grill will excite you. They feature a dozen meat choices, including Beef, Buffalo, Elk, Alligator, etc. (as I wince).

For Vegans, you will love The Art of Food The Art of Food ! Living Cafe and Tonic Bar...
Try their vegan cheesecake for dessert.

For Mexican food, It's still touch to beat Jimboy's Tacos Jimboy's Tacos - Home
Locations all over the Sacramento area. They even have bean tacos and vegetarian dishes right on their menu. No more feeling awkward in a group specifying vegetarian varuations of otherwise meat dishes!

As for Italian, so many good places. But for the best place, you have to venture just a tad south to The Brick House in Elk Grove Brick House Restaurant & Lounge
Many vegetarian dishes and variations.

Not to mention the best Lobster in town. Unless you can afford Morton's.
