I can't believe I didn't start this thread sooner. It's what I do almost every weekend. This past summer I was on the Virginia women's successful state formation record. Last weekend we jumped all day until sunset. These are two of my favorite recent skydiving pictures.
I'm sure you've heard this a thousand times, but why on earth would you jump out of a perfectly good airplane? I'd really love to, but my concern is that I would pass out, and not be able to pull the rip cord!

Haha... yes, if not a thousand times, then two thousand times ... and my answer is always the same... no such thing as a perfectly good airplane
Ever watched the sunset from a cloud? One of my favorite jumps ever was deploying my parachute at around 10,000 feet and watching the sunset.
Everyone is scared when they first start skydiving; that's completely normal and it's about controlling the fear and enjoying the experience.
I am afraid of heights. I KNOW I would vomit, wet and poop my pants, cry, scream then pass out. I'm afraid it wouldn't be any fun for me. I think it's awesome that you do it, though.
