Isaac Singh, was the American to invent the sewing machine, it was only the next year that the Caluful Miller family built a bedclothes factory to produce bedclothes with the sewing machine.

The first mattress with spring structure was created in America.
1876
2 events happened, the “Statue of Liberty” was given to America by France in order to commemorate the 100th anniversary of American independence. In that same year, the “100-year Fair” was held in Philadelphia and at that time, Miller brought his first handmade “CALUFUL” mattress to the fair. His mattress was appreciated by the European royals, who came to visit at that time and the mattress was then brought back to Europe.
1929
The Stock Market Disaster of America caused The Great Depression, and Caluful Miller Family was compelled to stop mattress business temporarily.
