Have you started fall preparations?

I just read a post that Alberta has issued frost warning, http://www.cityprofile.com/forum/can...arnings-24707/
We live in Toronto and had planned to start home renovations programs next month.so we decided to utilize that and get few renovation works done. I just hope that we won't have to postpone the work or stop in between due to snowfall.
Maybe we should have waited for some more time to start the work. Have anyone else started fall preparations?
