Hey how does the jeep handle hauling that around? What does it weight? Have any info or specs on it??? I would love to get something like that for mine!!!
It does great but hauling it up hwy97c from kelowna in 39 degree heat is too much for it without breaks. We hauled it around bc washington oregon and california this summer it did great. Fully loaded (with water battery propane food clothes and gear) the trailer is about 1500lbs and well within the TJs 2000 pound limit. I would recommend at least a 3.73 rear end for towing though. Its great and tons of room in it. Im 6'3 and 200lbs and can sleep in it with the mrs no probs.
There is a guy here in Kelowna that sells them, and I've often thought of getting one myself and painting it with my left over blue to match my Jeep. He runs the army surplus store here in Kelowna. Give him a call, see if he still has any left!
My only advice, don't buy his parachutes (j/k)
Thanks for the heads up. I contacted them, and we will see what comes of it. And yes, used parachutes are like used brakes...questionable at best. lol
