thai aroma on broadway is pretty good if you like it spicy. and opart thai on western is a new favorite of mine.

Thai Thanee in Schaumburg (Old Church/Schaumburg roads) is my favorite

I really like Penny's Noodles (northside and Oak Park), but ...
Yum Thai (laid back, but goo food) in Forest Park and...
Mama Thai (a bit more trendy) in Oak Park are really good.

Also Golden Snail in Hyde Park is pretty desent.

There's a small place called Thai Pavilion that has a location in both Skokie and DeKalb - easily in the top5 thai places I have been.

Two places that I would recommend are:

Panang Thai: River North
Siam Rice: Loop

Both are the same owner, incredibly good!
