The Fair is coming!

I live outside of Dallas, and have been in attendance at the State Fair of Texas since the age of 4. Can't wait to go this year! What do you think they will deep-fry this year?

Definitely! You have to see one of "Big Tex" (several story tall cowboy that is now fluent in both English and Spanish) and the massive Ferris wheel. Will post after going!

Wooo! I live like 30 minutes away from the fair grounds and have only been 3-4 times but now I can drive myself

What part of Dallas are you from? I know, I am willing to make the 4 hour drive home from school just to go visit!

A fried club salad?! That's too much lol. I tried the fried coke one year, it was pretty much a soggy doughnut hole, I can imagine the margarita, lemonade and beer will be different flavor of the same thing!
