For serious off road custom work,...

Lunatic Customs, Gerry Pifer
Tribe 4X4, Adam Scherer
Screamin Lizard, Sean Thierney

I have personal experience with all of these and they do great work.

I have never used BaerTrax but understand they also do good work.

Any shops that we should steer clear of? (no pun intended)

Isolated incidents might be one thing, but there are shops that have a history of a high percentage of bad customer service and shop knowledge/quality...

Baertrax is good and quick! They helped out my buddy with some repair work on his 99 wrangler. Solid welding job from what I could see!

I have always like 4wheelparts customer service and knowledge. Just a good store front to be able to go grab odds and ends like jacks and stuff, never had me jeep worked on there though, so not sure on quality and pricing, but can't be that bad judging by how well they seem to be doing in the area.
