I had an FO on the way home from work yesterday. Yummy... I wont buy food from the one in Alpharetta cus it's not the same at all. I only get food when I'm downtown.

The varsity is an Atlanta landmark, because of their cheap fast food and long history in the area. With that said I think it's literally just a once in a lifetime place to visit due to how greasy and unhealthy it is. You may end up leaving the restaurant feeling worse than when you leave (unless you're super excited about the signature varsity diner hat you snagged before leaving). Although I could say that about any fast food restaurant.

If you're in Atlanta and have never been, give it a go but do so with caution

Not sure what all the excitement is about. When I first moved to the Atlanta area I was told ?you need to eat at the Varsity? and how great the food was. I have tried it a couple of times and have to say the food SUCKS. It?s pretty hard to screw up a hot dog, but when you cover it with the equivalent of Hormel Chili in a can you take away the flavor of a decent ?dog?. I would put The Varsity in the same category as Krystal. Only when you are drunk beyond rational thinking could you think what you are eating tastes good and in the morning you realize your lack of judgment from the night before.
