I've not been there either. I've been wanting to go ever since I moved to Lafayette almost four years ago. I had a '92 Dakota that I was planning a 4wd swap in, but times got tough and had to sell it. I only know one guy that goes there and from what I've heard I don't think I want to ride with him. Maybe if I can get another Cherokee or another Dakota (I miss my truck) I'll go fulfil my small personal goal.

well i was planning on going this weekend, but again something allways comes up and have to reschedule. been trying to go for 8 months.
If it wasn't so far from here it would be easier to make a trip.
I need to trailer my truck there because it wouldn't make the 115mile trip, nor would it be a comfortable drive.

I've been to the badlands 4-5 times...back when Troy Meyers owned it....it was ALWAYS a GREAT TIME !!

yep, that's the tube - lol. Sometimes it's shallow enough you can take stock rigs through there and not get wet, and well then there are those other times.
