personally i have lived there half my life. Recently moved to Colorado. I just like it better here.

Snow and all that. The beach is alright but i have more fun in cold weather then in warm.

We moved here 8 years ago from Minneapolis, MN. I loved MN but really got tired of the snow and cold. Funny how everyone has their own personal likes/dislikes. For me the tropical climate fits me perfectly. I love being able to be outdoors year round. Of course, if you like the cold I guess you can be outdoors year round anywhere. LOL!

Born in Jax. Left in 1997 for school, came back by 2000. Left again in 2002 to finish school, came back in 2005. Still here and still diggin' it.

been in JAX for 2 years now and leaving in March.... heading to the big easy.

six months.... I went back to school and my wife works as a PA. No income tax and low taxes in general, was the clincher why we moved here... why give bureaucrats money to piss away... also more favorable malpractice law here.

Born and raised in Jacksonville. Been here 40+ years. Went away for law school for almost 4 years. 6th generation Floridian. Love NORTH Florida. Great weather. Tons of H2O to swim, ski, fish. Best place to live for me. I can travel to see and play in the snow, but always come home to Jax.
