I've been to Free State and I loved it. I've heard the Flying Saucer is great, but I haven't been there yet. I'd like to try Boulevard's pub sometime too.

I second this one. O'Malley's is a wonderful place and even better if your into historical places.

Beer
Freestate in Lawrence is good. Now available in bottles on the Kansas side of state line. The beer is better at bar than bottle.

23rd street brewery in Lawrence is also very good.

75 street in KC....love that irish red
