^^^^ granted the votes are a wtf and was likely a way to try and back out of an unfavorable vote (not defending but just seems like a quick excuse), most of obama's flubs have been minor speech errors, the point was obvious, With palin there was no point at the heart of it, such as where does she get her news from? she couldn't name one, now if she had mispronounced them or something then fine, not a big deal.... or said she could mention 8 and just mentioned 7, not a big deal.... but not being able to name 1 news source or one vote mccain was a "maverick" on is a big deal when she is constantly pushing that angle
It would be like if you claimed to be a master mechanic and I asked you how do I change an air filter and then picked up an oil filter and couldn't find where the air filter goes verses just trying to put the air filter in backwards, both are bad, but one is particularly worse.
Ah c'mon guys, let's face it, WE ARE IN SOME SERIOUS, HARD CORE OH SHEET!!! TROUBLE!!! dummycrat or rape-the-publican. Neither can make a decission one.
I'm just gonna vote on Palin cause she PERTIER than "Barry" (just an opinion)

Oh they make decisions alright, just not in the best interest of the average person is all. People seem to think that the next great candidate will make the difference too. That's the sad thing of it.

true our system is horribly flawed, but giving up isn't going to help either, our system is geared to make sure any changes happen at a snails pace, changing the direction of government is not an easy thing to do.

It's more than the government. I think you need to unite the people too. These days everyone and everything is so polarized. It's sort of like the 1980s battle of the environmentalists against the logging industry. Surprisingly, each side was essentially able to compromise and push ahead, and both partys actually work together now. We need to do that with our nation.
