as a hobby,what do you collect?

i'm pleased to announce that i present yall to my new addiction to my "ceiling fan" collection,this time it's a hunter "designer's choice" ceiling fan,i got it at the goodwill today,paid only $15.00 for it,it's complete(mounting bracket and all),works great,video will take over the rest

$15 sounds like a steal for that fan, it looks very ornate.

I collect books as well.
The past few years, I have enjoyed collecting decor with birds: textiles with bird themed prints, a paper owl, bird shaped candle holders, bird ornaments...
I don't know why, because I don't even really like birds. I've had a few birds as pets and they just crap everywhere and die too easily. I guess they're just pretty to look at.
Come to think of it, Escher does a lot of birds in his artwork, and I am a big fan of his.

the birds get the most crap>>flock of long tailed black birdies(graggles),you see them fly in huge group like on powerlines,trees..etc in the cities at evening/night times,they are everywhere here in burleson,texas.. AND THEY ARE NOISY

Very big on typewriters right now, if you have one let me know. I have one owned by Frank Hamer given to me by his Son before he passed.

Real pigs? How do you get them home...backseat?

I actually have quite a few pigs I got or were given to me because people saw mine and thought I collected them. They are just little ceramic pigs with the place of origin on them. They have them all over at gift shops.

Havasu you are so funny! They are all mostly ceramic and small. I would love to have a pet pig though. Hubby said only if we can call it "bacon"!
