1st annual crawfish boil
I thought this was going to be a great event. Then, it happened.
The crawfish smelled dead on arrival. Where did those mudbugs come from?
Although not a requirement, most people "purge" their crawfish before cooking them. I don't know if this would have helped the smell or the flavor/texture of the cooked crawfish.
I was disappointed with the event. I think the River Pub does a much better crawfish boil.
