Ruth's is defiantly great, albeit a bit pricey and a long way from me. I truly enjoy The Rainier Bar and Grill in Enumclaw for a good steak, burgers, salads and a home town type atmosphere. Don't even have to dress up.
JAKs (Issaquah, West Seattle, Laurelhurst/Seattle); excellent eats, reasonable-enough $$; only don't like that they don't take reservations ... so sometimes a wait is what awaits you.
+1 for Daniel's Broiler. They seem to be more consistent than the Met. Also the last time I was at the Met the valet door dinged my car and then said it was there already. No more reason to go there anymore.
I've only been to Ruth's Chris one time, and didn't try the steak. I will next time... Did try a martini there. It was $14 but one of the best I have ever tried.
