my 17 year old son is headed to northland job corp in vergennes. any input, advice, recommendation you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Have him pack twice as many pairs of heavy socks as he thinks he'll need! My sister did a job corps a few summers back and loved it, but it it alot of time on your feet, and in your boots.
