anybody else enjoy prospecting or rockhounding.

if so, what do you look for and in what areas.

I never go anywhere without my trusty old geologists hammer in the back of my Jeep.

I mostly just look for nicely crystalized rock samples. They're building a new highway between Montreal and Ottawa right along the edge of the Canadian Shield and some of the fresh rock cuts along there are full of nice samples.
