Cost of Living

Thinking about moving to the area. If you don't mind whats your rent payment?
Also how does it compare to where you've lived before?

I live in "affordable housing" in Loveland. Loveland is a city just to the south of Fort Collins. My rent is 775 for a 2 bedroom 2 bath, 1220 sq ft. In fort collins for something similar you will be looking 800+ depending on where you are living. Ive always lived in this area...so dont have much to compare it to.

Iffy at the moment, so I've heard. I know it to be true for someone like me still in college, if you've graduated it may be better, but I couldn't say for sure.

Housing:

Pretty expensive, front range and all that. My neighbor rents his 1500 sq.ft. bi-level for $1400 plus.

Jobs:

Depressed. I travel to northern Denver daily. The job market is bad unless your a CEO.

$1200 is pretty average. Most landlords are willing to negotiate.
