Hiking & Backpacking
North Georgia has some of the best hiking and backpacking trails. All with-in a short drive from Atlanta.

You guys should check out some of the trails in Suches, Ga. great place lots of hidden beauty in that little place (i'm a native lol)

I've never hiked in Suches, but have rode through there. It is beautiful in that area.

Thanks for the new place to go. If you havent hiked in the cherokee/nantahala natoional forests, definintely worth the drive only about 2 hours form ATL

I went for an outdoor ed. trip up in the Appalachian trail and I loved it! People need to try it more often!

Hoping to get out real soon. Don't know if I'll hit the AT or start working on knocking out the BMT (Benton MacKaye Trail).
