Dang. You beat me to that, but you forgot about the soy beans and swine farms too. Swine farms are fewer and farther in between from when I visited while I was younger.
There's also the Amish and Menanite communities way out in the boonies. I love driving through there; although, I don't get to do it very much. I love farm land. Reminds me of when I was growing up... minus the hills/mountains of southwest Virginia.
Lotta corn, lotta beans, I live a few miles from a swine farm (and NO you can not smell it) I know some Amish, sometimes I shop at an Amish store (some of the nicest people you will ever meet)
I really couldn't pick a better place to live, get the peace and quite of living in a small town, but I'm 25 miles from Richmond so if I get board there's always something to do.
