Nashville Predators

What do you think our playoff chances are? I'm new to hockey but very much enjoy watching the Predators.

I think we have a slight chance at the playoffs. The real question is, when will we make it past the first round? Watching hockey is about the only pro sport I'll watch, injuries have hurt them this year and it will be interesting to see how these young guys can step up.

They even played almost 60 minutes of hockey tonite, instead of protecting a 1 goal lead, actually looked like they wanted to win! Have to say the refereeing sucked. Dallas player tripped Webber, no call, they score. Sutter makes a shoulder check and gets called...there were more. But they won a big one tonite. From now on, they're all big ones.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Corey Perry's short-handed goal at 1:17 of the third period put Anaheim ahead to stay and the Ducks beat the Nashville Predators 6-3 on Wednesday night to tie the first-round series 2-2.
I'd noticed the name of this thread awhile back and awarded the name "Predators" a "that's dumb" award. I'd never heard of Predators but I am from MN so I correctly guessed hockey.

Nashville never sounded predacious. It felt like blues and jazz and music that kept up till dawn. It's Opry & Elvis, not the Philadelphia Flyers.

So how does it feel to get owned by ducks?
