History Lesson

Sometimes we need to be reminded about our history.

Just another e-mail being circulated.......

Quote:
THIS IS ABOUT OUR AMERICAN FUTURE

"Coil of Rage"

When you've read to the end, come back and read this first
paragraph again.

The character of any man is defined by how he treats his mother
as the years pass .... need I say more about this person below other
than there is no character, no integrity but there is a ton of attitude
and arrogance that defines his shallow past and hollow future .... I
rest my case..

I bought and read Obama's book, Audacity of Hope. It was
difficult to read considering his attitude toward us and everything
American. Let me add a phrase he used to describe his attitude toward
whites. He harbors a "COIL OF RAGE". His words not mine.

THIS IS OUR PRESIDENT -- HE'S RUNNING AGAIN, YOU KNOW! Is anyone
out there awake?

Everyone of voting age should read these two books by him: Don't
buy them, just get them from the library.

From Dreams From My Father:
"I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13,
when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to
whites."

From Dreams From My Father:
"I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and
animosity against my mother's race."

From Dreams From My Father:
"There was something about her that made me wary, a little too
sure of herself, maybe and white."

From Dreams >From My Father:
"It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show
your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names."

From Dreams >From My Father:
"I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't
speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of
Africa , that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself: the
attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela"

And FINALLY ........... and most scary:

From Audacity of Hope:
"I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift
in an ugly direction."

If you have never forwarded an e-mail, now is the time to do
so!!! We have someone with this mentality running our GREAT nation! Keep
your eye on him and don't blink.

I don't care whether you are a Democrat, a Republican, a
Conservative or a liberal, be aware of the attitude and character of
this sitting President.

There is a reason there remains a "gag order" on his college
thesis - it is thought to be highly inflammatory from a race
perspective! Both his and Michelle's.

Subject: YOUR FIRST CHRISTMAS CARD

FIRST CHRISTMAS CARD

Cleverly done!!!

Twas the Month before Christmas

Quote:
Twas the month before Christmas

When all through our land,

Not a Christian was praying

Nor taking a stand.

See the PC Police had taken away

The reason for Christmas - no one could say.

The children were told by their schools not to sing

About Shepherds and Wise Men and Angels and things.

It might hurt people's feelings, the teachers would say

December 25th is just a ' Holiday '.

Yet the shoppers were ready with cash, checks and credit

Pushing folks down to the floor just to get it!

CDs from Madonna, an X BOX, an I-Pod

Something was changing, something quite odd!

Retailers promoted Ramadan and Kwanzaa

In hopes to sell books by Franken & Fonda.

As Targets were hanging their trees upside down

At Lowe's the word Christmas - was no where to be found.

At K-Mart and Staples and Penny's and Sears

You won't hear the word Christmas; it won't touch your ears.

Inclusive, sensitive, Di-ver-si-ty

Are words that were used to intimidate me.

Now Daschle, Now Darden, Now Sharpton, Wolf Blitzen

On Boxer, on Rather, on Kerry, on Clinton !

At the top of the Senate, there arose such a clatter

To eliminate Jesus, in all public matter.

And we spoke not a word, as they took away our faith

Forbidden to speak of salvation and grace

The true Gift of Christmas was exchanged and discarded

The reason for the season, stopped before it started.

So as you celebrate 'Winter Break' under your 'Dream Tree'

Sipping your Starbucks, listen to me.

Choose your words carefully, choose what you say

Shout MERRY CHRISTMAS,

not Happy Holiday !

Please, all Christians join together and

wish everyone you meet

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Christ is The Reason' for the Christ-mas Season!

If you agree please forward, if not, simply delete.

All I know is my favorite holiday is the 24th of November, and there were decorated, artificial arboreal monuments commemorating the Winter Solstice Festival available for sale in Lowes two weeks before Halloween!

Dear Christians: October is for Halloween, November is for Thanksgiving. Ya'll are more impatient than my kids. Go **** yourselves until Black Friday. KTHXBAI.

An e-mail thought for your consideration and perusal......

Quote:
Christmas 2011 -- Birth of a New Tradition

As the holidays approach, the giant Asian factories are kicking into high
gear to provide Americans with monstrous piles of cheaply produced goods --
merchandise that has been produced at the expense of American labor.

This year will be different. This year Americans will give the gift of genuine
concern for other Americans. There is no longer an excuse that, at gift-giving time, nothing can be found that is produced by American hands. Yes there is!

It's time to think outside the box, people. Who says a gift needs to fit in
a shirt box, wrapped in Chinese produced wrapping paper?

Everyone -- yes EVERYONE gets their hair cut. How about gift certificates
from your local American hair salon or barber?
Hire your local hard working fishing guide.

Gym membership? It's appropriate for all ages who are thinking about some
health improvement.

Who wouldn't appreciate getting their car detailed? Small, American-owned
detail shops and car washes would love to sell you a gift certificate or a
book of gift certificates.

Are you one of those extravagant givers who think nothing of plonking down
the Benjamines on a Chinese made flat-screen? Perhaps that grateful gift
receiver would like his driveway sealed, or lawn mowed for the summer, or
driveway plowed all winter, or games at the local golf course.

There are a bazillion owner-run restaurants -- all offering gift certificates. And, if your intended isn't the fancy eatery sort, what about a half-dozen breakfasts at the local breakfast joint. Remember, folks this isn't about big National chains -- this is about supporting your home town Americans with their financial lives on the line to keep their doors open.

How many people couldn't use an oil change for their car, truck or motorcycle, done at a shop run by the American working guy?

Thinking about a heartfelt gift for mom? Mom would LOVE the services of a
local cleaning lady for a day.

My computer could use a tune-up, and I KNOW I can find some young guy who is struggling to get his repair business up and running.

OK, you were looking for something more personal. Local crafts people spin their own wool and knit them into scarves. They make jewelry, and pottery and beautiful wooden boxes.

Plan your holiday outings at local, owner-operated restaurants and leave your server a nice tip. And, how about going out to see a play or ballet at your hometown theater?

Musicians need love too, so find a venue showcasing local bands.

Honestly, people, do you REALLY need to buy another ten thousand foreign-made lights for the house? When you buy a five dollar string of light, about fifty cents stays in the community. If you have those kinds of bucks to burn, leave the mailman, trash guy or delivery person and babysitter a nice BIG tip.

You see, Christmas is no longer about draining American pockets and seeing our hard-earned wages go outside the country. Christmas is now about caring about US, encouraging American small businesses to keep plugging away to follow their dreams. And, when we care about other Americans, we care about our communities and the benefits come back to us in ways we couldn't imagine.

THIS is the new American Christmas tradition. Enjoy family get-togethers, church services, caroling, as in past Christmases but put more emphasis on the REASON FOR THE SEASON and less on material gifts.

Forward this to everyone on your mailing list -- post it to discussion
groups -- throw up a post on Craigslist in the Rants and Raves section in
your city -- send it to the editor of your local paper and radio stations,
and TV news departments. This is a revolution of caring about each other,
and isn't that what Christmas is about?

Is Easter about the bunny? Is Thanksgiving about the Great Pumpkin?

One thing we're reassured about the true meaning of is certainly Christmas. From carols on store's Muzak to stuffed mailboxes filled with sales offerings it completely clear that Christmas 2011 celebrates ..............

When Fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross.
