What part of town are you in?

San Diego is so big and has so many communities, where are you?
Where are you from? Tell us about your San Diego community and why we should visit there.

I'll start, I grew up in La Mesa, but spent a bit of time growing up in Spring Valley. Now I'm in Lemon Grove.

Places to eat in LG are El Pollo Grill and Carnitas Uruapan for Mexican.
Lido's has decent Italian, and Oh Yeah! We have a Starbucks!

A few pawn shops on Broadway, but there really isn't much else to say about LG.

Maybe if some people reply, I'll think of some places for La Mesa and Spring Valley.

edit: I almost forgot! Our landmark is Lip-Rock (<--see avatar) although it is right on the border of La Mesa and LG.

I'm in hillcrest. I'm a law student. I like the restaurants here but as a straight guy some of the bars can be a bit alienating.
