LOL, dude you don't stand a chance. No way you are going to convince a unadventurous mother to leave her childhood home if she hasn't already. Maybe you could convince her, but then she'll just be counting the days until she can move back.

Having lived in Florida, that should be enough reason to move to Austin! Okay, I might be biased. I lived in Tampa as well, so most places would be an improvement...
