September Picture of the Month Contest

I think we are going to break rule #4 and allow a few more entries than just 10 per month.

Right now and until a new set of rules is posted, we are going to roll with something along the lines of "All entries received before sometime around the middle of the month will be considered valid. At some point near the middle of the month the thread will be closed. Ten or more of the best pictures will be displayed in a new thread where people can vote for and comment on the pictures until around the end of the month. At which point a monthly winner will ensue."

Are we still limited to one picture per participant per month?

As far as I know, the contest is still limited to one per month, but the remainder could be used for future month's contests.

If you just want to show off great photos, there are many thread dedicated to showing off photos, but there is no contest associated with them.

Yah, I think the one picture per month rule needs to stay. Just post up the best one you have. If there's more than one, it will just mess up the voting, because no one will know what picture is being voted for. If you get my drift.

Anyways, there's still a few days left for new entries, so get off your butts folks!
