Live music - Dallas, Texas

So where can I find some real live music in DFW?

For the last few years all I can find is air bands with a singer.

I like Love & War in Plano. They have bands come in pretty regularly.

Nothing like lower Greenville in my opinion. Music and food.. Stan's Blues Bar ..
I haven't got to go in years ...My son live over there back when I was single I'd go stay with him. Great fun.

House of Blues always has something going on. WW Fairfields has a band on the weekends.

I enjoy Petes piano bar in Addison and Fortworth. Sorry most of the places I go are in Fortworth.

Depends on the style of music you're looking for. A good place to start looking around is pick up a copy of the Dallas Observer at a local bar or restaurant. I personally like Sherlock's in Addison; they've got a live band playing every night at 9pm... sometimes they're good (not always).

I've been to sherlocks in Addison a bunch of times. Fun place, but the most of the time the bands are just puppets. Sorry to break it to you.
