restaurants you may not know about
A bunch of us went to the Keystone Cafe at 313 Greenup Street in Covington. If you go, I want to warn you it is hard to find a place to park. I ended up in the city garage 1 1/2 blocks away, which fortunately has free parking.
Although the restaurant itself is nice looking, with outside seating, it is dark inside with lots of dark brown paneling, and it is hard to hear others talking next to you. None of us were that impressed with the food, which was rather bland. I had something called Keystone Quesos, with homemade tortilla chips that were browner and heavier than what I am used to, and a mixed cheese and chili sauce with cut-up tomatoes that was good at first but then got kind of boring tasty. There was a ton of it and I could eat only half.
