In the Williston, ND area, how hard is it to get into the Oil Field jobs?
I'm a machinist by trade, but also know hydraulics and can repair about anything. I'm a hard working looking for something to pay the bills and here in Michigan the jobs market plan sucks..
So right now we're looking at getting a RV after the first of the year and I'll head out in search of work with the family to follow with in 6 to 12 months.
The potential drilling over the next 20 years can be as high as 48,000 wells and 35,000 people have flocked to N.D. with more everyday, therefore openings are obvious and available. http://www.startribune.com/local/131923403.html
With your background/experience, you may well not have any problem.
CHEERS!!

You are only interested in this kind of work, but if you consider other vacancies in other companies? For example, wall work? Have not looked at their vacancies, maybe if it does not work out in the area where you are looking, try another.
