Well, we're getting a used Mazda 5 with about 15k miles - I'm yet to buy new. So stock manufacturer warranties are a no-go. The 5 is certified pre-owned, which I didn't know what that was until yesterday. They're guaranteeing the powertrain up to 75k, which is pretty outstanding out of a used car.
I think we're still going to get the service warranty, though. It's about 1.5k, but will cover pretty much all repairs minus oil changes and such up to 80k I believe.
Hah, all in all it was an alright experience. First negotiations went horrid, but seconds ones, about the 5, went pretty well and the guy was pretty straight with me.
