RC (radio controlled) vehicles and airplanes. Been in it for over 10 years and I don't want to think about the money I've spent. However, the good times had outweigh any monetary investment and this is also something my younger sons will be into very shortly - great family activity.
I like shooting, camping, hiking things like that, but at home I like my guitars, I have two. I sold my 5 string banjo so I am down the the two guitars. One is a steel stringed acoustic that I play finger style on, usually old tunes from about 1900 or so. I tune it different than standard too a lot. My other guitar is what they call a "crossover" It has a classical body, has nylon strings, but has a thinner neck than most of your standard "classical" guitars and it has a cutaway and BOTH guitars are acoustic electric and can be play either acoustically or plugged into an amplifier. On the nylon guitar I like to twang out a few latin American classical tunes and lately I have been arranging some rock songs in the finger Spanish style from Santana's collection of instrumentals for my nyloner.
I like dogs. We have 7 around here. I have always had dogs around ever since I can remember, they are great pets. I stopped hunting with the hounds a few years ago and they are all gone now.
