Saw a few deer

We saw a few deer. Only hunted the first week. My oldest son took a nice 8 point the first day.
Any Hunters?-100media_imag0105.jpg

Hunter here. Got a doe in rifle season. Gearing up for small game and late archery season. Was just out with the dogs for rabbits on saturday. Also make game calls.

Didn't see any legal. We have to have 4 horns per side. I did get a doe the last day. The three feet of snow on the ground made for some tough tracking / dragging.

For horns per side? on a deer? Deer have antlers, and you mean points. Sorry, it's a pet peeve of mine.

I went out about 12 days during the late blackpowder season with my flintlock, I've only got a single tag, and was hoping for a buck. I did see one, but it was grouped with does and used them as a shield.

For?? Do you mean Four ? Maybe if you spent more time on trying to be a better hunter, instead of critiquing peoples post's on the internet, you'd have got something.
