Soon, I too will have more range

Just remembered I still have my Minolta SRT-201 (from a hundred years ago.. ) and the Vivatar Telephoto lens and a JC Penny wide angle lens which I used before digital. Always tried to take good care of these....wish they would fit my Canon Powershot S2 IS...the Canon is 12X optical and 4X digital for 48X overall zoom......works pretty good in most cases, but a more expensive camera and lens would be great..

We have a lot of wood peckers in my neck of the woods.
But I'm on a dead end street in the middle of an urban oasis
Angell Woods at APAW / APBA

That's pretty cool, those brown snakes are boas though right? Not like these Mohave snakes here. One bit my dog and minutes later it was gone.

Yup, there's no poisonous snakes in the woods around Montreal that I know of.
No scorpions either

and what's wierd is that the smaller the scorpion, the more potant his sting's gonna be. We have three kinds of rattlesnakes too, sidewinder, western Diamondback and the Mohave. The Mohave or Mojave is the nastiest and where I live is the most populated mohave snake area. This is where they live, (unless they get too close to the house.) Oh, and an occassional Gila monster too. ha ha

I think we only have the two "finches" in our neighborhood....
the "gold finch" and the "house finch".....
here's photos that show the "Pair"....I know, you know that
the "males" are the ones that have the predominate color...
the house finch males are colored differently in some instances....
