yeah, but not the babies . . . this one was about 5/6 inches nose to tail tip
I say that but I've only seen a couple of these. I may be wrong. But I do know they are here, they come up after a rain to drink (they feel the water hit the dirt) and this little guy fits all those discriptions. It had just rained when I took the pic. Most critters here buro in the dirt like that, reps & mammals, and few come out during the hot days, just us stupid humans do. The snakes are amazing, they are HARD to see until they either rattle or move. I walked right over the one that killed my dog (in sandles & shorts) and never even saw it until my other dog, (Stupid) had it slinging rattlers, snake guts and fangs every direction. Coyotes cross the road into the desert and freeze. They blend in so well they're hard to see too.
