Collinsville - what to do?

Ill be in the area near the end of January, I know its not the ideal time to visit but work picks the date. I like restaurants and bars and am up for about anything. I dont imagine their are many outdoor activities this time of year, but Id love any advice.

If you can make the fifteen minute drive into Edwardsville, it will be worth your time. You can visit Bigelos for some food and a few good beers. If you like Erato its a few doors down from Bigelos and has an incredible wine selection, not to mention a decent beer selection. There are a few bars in the area that are hit or miss, but much better attended than most bars in the other surrounding towns.
